Hello, we are Rob and Rebecca. Thank you for taking time to learn more about us and for your courageous decision to consider placing your child with an adoptive family.We met the tried-and-true way busy professionals meet in the 21st century through online dating! We met in early 2019 and were married later that same year. We discovered we held many similar beliefs and likes, the most important to both of us being faith and family. We decided to get married in a private ceremony on the beach as this is our favorite place to spend time.The child we adopt will know the love and selflessness of their birth mother. We are at a great place in life to add a child to our family. While our dreams of being parents were not able to happen biologically, we have an abundance of love to give a child, as our heart's desire is to become parents.

When people meet Rob, they tend to notice he's a tall guy. After all, you don't meet many people that are 6'7"! Rob's humor and kindness quickly shine through. He is thoughtful and cares deeply for his friends and family. Rob is the kind of guy that makes friends in any situation. If anyone needs help, he is always ready to lend a hand. Rob is always planning our next activity or trip---he's great at making things happen!He graduated from the University of Alabama, so naturally, he enjoys watching all Alabama sports teams, specifically the football and basketball teams. Rob is an avid golfer and enjoys hitting the course with friends. He is part of a fantasy football league that has been ongoing with the same friends for over a decade. Rob also enjoys putting together puzzles.Rob will be a great dad because he had a great dad. His dad was deeply committed to providing a happy, loving home for his family, and Rob is ready to do the same for our family. Rob is engaging, thoughtful, and so much fun.

Three words come to mind when I think of Rebecca: sweet, fun and dependable.Rebecca has a sweet spirit about her, she is always thinking of others and takes time to let others know they are important to her. From a simple note to a flower arrangement, she tries to brighten someone's day through her thoughtfulness. She has a heart of gold and is a very giving person, always thinking of others before herself.Rebecca is a fun person to be around. She constantly makes me laugh and is ready for any new experiences. She likes trying new restaurants, checking out random exhibits, hiking, and biking. There is no one I would rather spend my free time with.Rebecca is the most dependable person I know. If she says she is going to do something, it gets done. She is always there for me when I need to talk, and her friends and family seek her out for advice and help when they need it.She loves to cook, especially making Italian dishes and various desserts, and enjoys working in her garden. She looks forward to passing her love and knowledge of cooking, and sharing her gardening experiences with a child.

Our home has four bedrooms, a large basement, and a big yard with plenty of play space.We are fortunate to live in a neighborhood with many young families. We live in a great school district and are committed to providing a quality education to a child. There are many great walking paths, playgrounds, and open spaces to enjoy close by. On our daily walks we encounter many families out and about enjoying the neighborhood and amenities.Our pets are Sully, Ellie, and Jasper. Sully and Ellie are golden retrievers, are very sweet, and exceptionally good with both small children and adults. Jasper, our cat, is a curious and entertaining member of our family, who is also very kind and gentle around children. Every evening they enjoy playing together, and we love the joy they bring to our home.

Rob's mother lives nearby and we enjoy each other's company regularly. Rob's father passed away unexpectedly in 2010 leaving behind a legacy of love and faith. Rob has extended family in Georgia, where he was raised, and throughout the southeast. We always have a good time when we get together, filled with laughter while sharing great food and making memories.Rebecca's family lives locally in Colorado. We spend time with Rebecca's parents, siblings, nephews, and niece regularly. We enjoy going to Rockies games or simply sharing a meal together. Water World and the Corn Maze have been some of our favorite experiences.We are so blessed to have the love and support of our families and friends. The child will be surrounded by many loving people who eagerly await their arrival.

We enjoy getting away often and our favorite spot is the beach. We have enjoyed going to Cabo a few times and love the Gulf of Mexico. We take a trip every summer to Glenwood Springs where we enjoy the hot springs, walk around town, and go whitewater rafting. We plan to take a family vacation at least once a year with the child and look forward to introducing them to our favorite places. We are excited to experience new areas through the eyes of a child.We look forward to learning what the child's interests are and providing opportunities to explore those interests. Whether they participate in sports, music, science, or anything else, we are ready to encourage those interests. Some of the traditions we look forward to passing down include building snowmen and sandcastles, going to a pumpkin patch, and making cookies together. At Christmas we enjoy a big family brunch at our house and admire the many trees and decorations.
